Brownie Points

I am going to make an award at the end of the semester to whoever comes up with the most corrections or thoughtful questions that leads to additions to the class notes. The prize will be a gift certificate to the New Mandarin Restaurant that should cover food for about two people. Should there be a tie, multiple winners will be awarded. Should there be an almost winner, a suitable prize will also be awarded. Consider the table below. If you think you deserve more brownie points, send me an email. Since it is April, my memory from January is not perfect. That is a function of age, unfortunately. You will see eventually, too.

Student Corrections Additions
H 8
Kat 1
M 1
N 7
Se 2
Sh   2

I want to emphasize that the first to find something that leads to an improvement in the notes gets one brownie point per improvement. If a book comes out of this course, you also get an acknowledgment.

Awards are only for registered students in the class this term and will be based on the total brownie points on April 30, 2013.
